Britt Gardens

Named for Peter Britt, a prominent photographer who recorded many events in Jacksonville’s early years, Britt Gardens is set on the historic 4.5 acre site where Britt lived until his death in 1905.

The Britt House, built in 1860 was destroyed by fire in 1960.

Home of the Britt Festivals, an outdoor music and performing arts festival, Britt Gardens is located just two blocks from historic downtown Jacksonville.

Britt Gardens is available for day use and picnicking.
